What I did during Shabbat

Here is what some of your Abirimers and Nitzanimers did during Shabbat!

On Friday night for Shabbat we got all dressed up and said prayers in Kikarzion. Then for dinner we had chicken soup, potatoes, and challah. The next morning we dressed up again and had an amazing breakfast. It was a wonderful day. -Emma C.

On Saturday it was Shabbat and there was Havdallah, there was also a lot of free time and time to relax. I really enjoyed the dance party after Havdallah because we got to socialize. I really enjoyed Shabbat. My favorite part was having free sports and free swim. -Makaya T.

The end of Shabbat dancing was awesome. The ice cream we got was awesome too. My Shabbat-o-gram was a bag of m&ms. The challah good was. It was way better than a lot of challah I have tasted. The best part of Shabbat was breakfast on Saturday morning. -Joseph B.

On Saturday afternoon Rabbi Joe told us a story. -Gilad A.

Shabbat was great. We had a two hour service. We also had challah for dinner and we got to sleep in. Havdallah was great too. We had ice cream with our edah and said Havdallah prayers -Jerry K.

On Shabbat I went to the Whizen field with friends and I ate falafel for dinner. -Maxim M.

In the morning on Saturday, the wake up time was changed to a later time. Then later on at night we heard a story from Rabbie Joe. Then on saturday afternoon we had a lot of free time so I mostly was hanging out with my friends at the bunk. We were laughing a lot. When Shabbat was over we had Havdallah. I heard the sizzle when the candle went out so now we will have a "sweet week" as Lesley (our rosh) said. -Katie S.

"Sky Tree" - Joseph B.

I took it from down below and aimed up.

I saw a circle when I was taking the picture. -Gilad S.

Its basically a rock wall. -Jerry K.

When I saw the plant, I thought that it had a cool shape and a cool texture. -Katie S.

I thought that if I took it from a lower angle then it would look like a flower.

"The V Tree" It looks like like a V and it looks cool to me. -Maxim M.

I was thinking about the shadows and how people play on it (the jungle gym). - Makaya T.

I took this picture to show that in life there are parallel lines, not just in math. -Emma C.
